Synopsis
What Richard Did (2012) is an Irish drama directed by Lenny Abrahamson, available to watch online on iFILM. Richard is the kind of teenager Dublin's private-school circuit produces regularly — rugby star, natural leader, the one everyone expects to go places. Then a single night in summer takes all of that apart.
Jack Reynor is quietly devastating in the lead, playing not a monster but something more uncomfortable: a young man discovering that confidence and entitlement are not the same as character. Lars Mikkelsen appears in a key supporting role. Abrahamson keeps the camera close and the dialogue scarce, letting discomfort accumulate.
