Sharpe's Gold

Sharpe's Gold (1995) is a British TV adventure film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Tom Clegg and based on Bernard Cornwell's novel. Major Richard Sharpe — played by Sean Bean — is deep in the Spanish guerrilla country of summer 1813, tasked with trading a weapons shipment for more than fifty British deserters held by a warlord named El Casco.

The exchange gets complicated. Widow Bess Nugent and her daughter Ellie arrive at camp looking for Ellie's missing father, and she follows Sharpe's company into the hills — the same hills rumoured to hide buried Aztec gold. El Casco proves a far harder man to deal with than a simple prisoner swap would suggest.
