Synopsis
Quisling: The Final Days (Quislings siste dager, 2024) is a Norwegian historical drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Erik Poppe. On 8 May 1945, the German forces leave Norway. Liberation arrives — but something still needs to be settled before the country can move on.
Vidkun Quisling is in a cell at Akershus Fortress. Five years of collaboration, a government handed to the Nazis, a nation's suffering signed off on. A priest comes to him — not a prosecutor, just someone asking whether a man who caused this much damage can actually reckon with what he did. Gard B. Eidsvold plays Quisling as rock-solid in his own convictions; Anders Danielsen Lie is the priest quietly looking for a crack in that certainty.
At 147 minutes, Erik Poppe's film is less a procedural than a study in how a man becomes the word for "traitor." Stream Quisling: The Final Days online on iFILM.
