Afonya (2025) is a Russian comedy-fantasy series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Mikhail Raskhodnikov and Konstantin Trofimov. The central pair is a retired pediatrician, Valentin Semyonych, who lives out his pension in a cramped Soviet-era flat, and Afonya — a cantankerous house spirit employed by the afterlife's equivalent of a housing authority.

When Afonya pulls bureaucratic strings to secure his owner a spacious three-room apartment in a new building, neither of them accounts for the stairwell full of strangers that comes with it. Leaking radiators, domestic disputes, requests at the wrong hour — Semyonych takes a job as the building concierge to handle it all, and Afonya, despite objections, stays close. Viktor Bychkov and Timofey Zaytsev play the lead roles.
