Beckett Mariner breaks rules on principle. Brad Boimler follows every regulation like it's scripture. Tendi loves Starfleet without a trace of irony. Rutherford fixes things that shouldn't be fixable. Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, and Eugene Cordero voice the crew. The humor runs fast and dense — TNG, DS9, and Voyager references land several times per episode — but the show earns them rather than coasting on nostalgia.
