The setup looks innocent enough: Cuddles the rabbit, Toothy the beaver, Flippy the bear and the rest just want to go about their day — bake, sled, ride a swing, take a road trip. Then the smallest mishap spirals into disaster. Severed limbs, absurd deaths, fountains of entrails, all rendered in bright pastel colors over cheerful music. The creepiest part is how the survivors barely react, treating dismemberment like an ordinary Tuesday. Kenn Navarro directs and voices Cuddles himself.

What began in 1999 as a string of short Flash clips quickly became an internet phenomenon: millions of views, fan theories, merchandise, even mobile games.
