Pooh's logic is airtight: bees make honey, honey is for eating, therefore climb to the hive on a balloon. He hums a little cloud song and floats up; Piglet stays below pretending to be a second cloud. Yevgeny Leonov's rumbling, dreamy voice gives Pooh a gravity and charm entirely his own, and Khitruk's spare visual style earned the series a devoted following completely separate from the English-language version.
