Prince Ivan, the famously idle youngest royal, is dispatched to retrieve the Firebird and promptly gets in over his head. A cunning Grey Wolf strikes a deal to help — but he has his own designs on Princess Vasilisa, which complicates the arrangement considerably. Voice cast includes Ivan Okhlobystin, Viktor Sukhorukov, Liia Akhedzakova, Mikhail Boyarsky and Sergei Garmash, an unusually strong roster for a Russian animated feature.
