Modus (2015) is a Swedish crime series you can watch online on iFILM. It's the weeks before Christmas in Uppsala: forensic psychologist Inger Johanne Vik finds her autistic daughter drawn into a string of murders she's being asked to profile. Detective Ingvar Nyman from the national force Rikskrim arrives to investigate a separate killing — an Episcopal bishop — and the two cases keep pulling toward the same dark centre.

Melinda Kinnaman carries the series with a performance that's more interior than procedural; Henrik Norlén is her reluctant investigative partner. Kim Cattrall turns up as an American character who threads an international strand into the plot. The show adapts Anne Holt's Inger Johanne Vik crime novels.
