Lilyhammer (2012) is a Norwegian-American crime comedy series you can watch online on iFILM. New York mobster Frank Tagliano ratted out his boss and cut a deal for witness protection — but he had one very specific demand. He'd seen Lillehammer on TV during the Winter Olympics and wanted exactly that. The quiet, snowy Norwegian town he'd romanticized from his couch.

Steven Van Zandt, the actor who played Silvio Dante on The Sopranos, leads the show as a man who arrives with mob habits fully intact and finds that charm, threats, and side deals work very differently on Scandinavian civil servants. Co-produced by NRK and Netflix, Lilyhammer was among the earliest original projects the streaming platform put into production.
