Synopsis
The Toybox (2018) is a desert horror you can watch online on iFILM. An estranged American family buys a cheap used RV and drives deep into the scorching wasteland to patch things up. The trip falls apart fast. The brakes quit, the rig strands them miles from anywhere, and the heat is only the first thing trying to kill them.
Misha Barton and Denise Richards lead the cast. Their characters slowly figure out that the RV once belonged to a serial killer — and something of him still rides along. One by one, the survivors get picked off inside a metal box they can't escape. No signal, no shade, no help.
Director Tom Nagel keeps it tight and claustrophobic, leaning on a nasty premise: you can't outrun a home on wheels when the home is hunting you. It's a lean, low-budget slasher for fans of grimy roadside horror who don't need a clever twist. Stream The Toybox (2018) online on iFILM.
