Be With You

Be With You (지금 만나러 갑니다, 2018) is a Korean romantic fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. A year after his wife Soo-a died, Woo-jin is raising their little boy alone, and she promised to come back with the rains.

When the rainy season returns, so does she. A woman with Soo-a's face and voice appears, but she remembers nothing of the husband and son she adored. Woo-jin has to court his own wife all over again, while wrestling with whether to tell her how this miracle is bound to end once the rain stops.

So Ji-sub and Son Ye-jin underplay every scene, which is exactly why it aches. Director Lee Jang-hoon remakes the 2004 Japanese drama and slips in a late twist that recasts everything before it.
