Troop Zero

Troop Zero (2019) is a family comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. It's 1977 in small-town Georgia, and nine-year-old Christmas Flint (McKenna Grace) lives with her father, falls asleep to radio static she swears is the sound of space, and longs to leave Earth behind.

Then she hears the news: NASA is recording everyday voices onto a Golden Record bound for the stars. To enter, Christmas needs a Birdie Scout troop, so she rounds up the other kids nobody picks first. Viola Davis plays the paralegal pushed into leading them, Allison Janney is the prim rival troop master, and Jim Gaffigan is the soft-hearted dad who loves his daughter more than he knows how to say.
