Synopsis
South Park: The End of Obesity (2024) is an animated special written and directed by Trey Parker, available to watch online on iFILM. A new weight-loss drug has swept through South Park and everyone is getting thin. Everyone except Cartman — he's been denied access to the medication and that is, predictably, not something he takes lying down.
The kids spring into action while the adults argue about insurance coverage, pharmaceutical pricing, and who exactly deserves the miracle drug. Parker uses the real-world Ozempic craze as a launching pad for 51 minutes of sharp social satire, complete with a cameo from Oprah Winfrey and the show's signature willingness to follow an absurd premise wherever it leads.
