The regulars are a gallery of holiday types: a middle-aged swinger couple, a pair of snobs who think they're above it all, a Lancashire pub-quiz champ, a gay couple, and one very loud working-class family. Behind the bar and the reception desk, the long-suffering staff treat each fresh batch of guests as a fresh disaster. The humour is broad and cheerfully rude — cheap booze, dodgy buffets and the great British package holiday in all its glory.
