Synopsis
Benidorm (2007), Season 1 is the British sitcom you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes set entirely at the Solana, an all-inclusive resort on the Spanish coast packed with holidaymakers from back home.
This opening run introduces the regulars. There's a pair of middle-aged swingers, a snobbish couple who think they're a cut above, a pub-quiz champion who still holidays with his mum, a gay couple, and the loud Garvey clan. The season kicks off with the bombshell of Chantelle's pregnancy, and for a while nobody by the pool talks about anything else. From there Martin and Kate's marriage wobbles around a smooth-talking waiter named Mateo, a staff engagement starts to crack, and a hotel quiz night turns weirdly competitive. Small disasters, sunburn and bad decisions — that's the engine here.
