McGarrett builds a team that shouldn't work on paper. Danny Williams, Scott Caan's motor-mouthed detective from New Jersey, hates beaches and argues with everything. Chin Ho Kelly is a disgraced former Honolulu cop fighting to clear his name. His cousin Kono just graduated from the police academy. Together they take on the cases regular law enforcement can't touch — organized crime, terrorism, old scores settled on the islands.
