Synopsis
Daddy, I'm a Zombie (Papá, soy una zombi, 2012) is a Spanish animated feature you can watch online on iFILM. It's a family fantasy-comedy directed by Joan Espinach and Ricardo Ramón, carrying the tagline "13 going on eternity."
Thirteen-year-old Dixie is taking her parents' divorce hard. She's shut out her friends, turned permanently gloomy, and the kids at school have started calling her a zombie. After one fight too many she runs off into the woods — and wakes up on the other side, in a graveyard, surrounded by the genuine residents of the afterlife. To find her way back to the living and patch things up with her dad, she has to work out what she actually wants and make peace with being different. The road home turns out far stranger than she bargained for.
Despite the cemetery setup, the film keeps a warm, gentle tone with no real frights. It's a good fit for older kids and tweens — a coming-of-age story about self-acceptance wrapped in a lively adventure. Stream Daddy, I'm a Zombie (2012) online on iFILM.
