Now and then Laura still drifts back to Bruno's bed, which keeps his hope of a reunion alive. To steer things his way, he gets close to Pablo himself — at first only to keep an eye on his rival. Then a mutual friend mentions in passing that Pablo once dated men, and Bruno cooks up a far craftier scheme: make Pablo fall for him and pull him away from Laura that way. What he doesn't plan for is how the friendship between the two men slowly turns into something he never put into the equation.

Berger films it slowly and closely, in long looks and held silences — his signature in queer cinema. There's no melodramatic push here, just patient observation of a plan that quietly turns on the man who made it. A small, intimate film for anyone who likes unhurried arthouse stories about desire.
