Synopsis

The Patriot (1998) is an American action thriller directed by Dean Semler that you can watch online on iFILM. Former government agent Wesley McClaren (Steven Seagal) traded fieldwork years ago for a quiet life as a small-town immunologist in Montana.

That quiet ends when a local militia releases a lethal virus their own vaccine can't stop. The town goes under quarantine, the clock runs down, and the only shot at a serum lives in the natural immunity of McClaren's eight-year-old daughter (Camilla Belle). Seagal throws fewer punches than usual and spends real time at a microscope, an odd gear for him. Semler, an Oscar-winning cinematographer, makes the Montana scenery look terrific.
