Synopsis
Custody (Jusqu'à la garde, 2018) is a French drama-thriller by Xavier Legrand, available to watch online on iFILM. The Besson marriage is over, and the entire fight comes down to one question — which parent keeps eleven-year-old Julien.
The court orders joint custody, and the boy becomes a bargaining chip between his mother (Léa Drucker) and the father he is quietly terrified of (Denis Ménochet). Legrand shoots a domestic drama with the grammar of a horror film: no score, just dread thickening frame by frame. His debut feature took the Silver Lion for Best Director at Venice.
