Synopsis
Around the World in 80 Days (1989) is an adventure miniseries you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Buzz Kulik and adapted from Jules Verne's novel. Pierce Brosnan plays Phileas Fogg, the composed London gentleman who bets his fortune at the Reform Club: he can circle the globe in exactly eighty days.
Eric Idle is Passepartout, Fogg's resourceful valet, and Peter Ustinov plays Detective Fix — a Scotland Yard officer certain Fogg robbed the Bank of England and is using the wager as a cover story. The route passes through India, Japan, and America; Robert Wagner, Christopher Lee, and Robert Morley appear in supporting parts along the way.
