The Odyssey (1997) is a sweeping television miniseries you can watch online on iFILM. Director Andrei Konchalovsky brought Homer's ancient epic to the screen with Armand Assante as Odysseus, Greta Scacchi as Penelope, and a cast that includes Isabella Rossellini, Vanessa Williams, and Christopher Lee.

Troy has fallen — ten years of war, one wooden horse, done. Now Odysseus needs to get home to Ithaca. Poseidon, insulted by the hero's pride at the moment of victory, ensures the voyage becomes its own war. A blinded Cyclops calls down the god's fury; the enchantress Circe delays the crew for a year; Scylla and Charybdis guard the only passage forward; and a trip through the underworld is unavoidable. Back on Ithaca, Penelope weaves and unweaves to buy time against the suitors crowding her hall.
