Synopsis
Cloudy Mountain (峰爆, 2021) is a Chinese disaster movie from director Li Jun that you can watch online on iFILM. A chain of earthquakes and landslides threatens to bury a city and a tunnel that took ten years to build.
Shifting geology sets off a cascade: the ground splits, mudslides roar down, and the earth caves in beneath a newly finished railway tunnel. Around 160,000 lives hang on what happens next. The rescue falls to an engineer (Zhu Yilong) and his father, a retired railway man — two stubborn men with old grievances who suddenly have to pull together.
This is a textbook Chinese blockbuster about nature on the rampage: massive collapses, sheer cliff faces, rescuers pitted against a mountain that won't quit.
