Synopsis
Elvis (2005) is a biographical miniseries available to watch online on iFILM, directed by James Steven Sadwith and produced for CBS as a US–German co-production. Jonathan Rhys Meyers plays Elvis Presley from his high school years in Memphis through the breakout that turned an unknown teenager into an international phenomenon.
Rose McGowan is Dixie Locke, Presley's first girlfriend; Randy Quaid plays Colonel Tom Parker, the manager who shaped the career and occasionally distorted it. Rhys Meyers gets the physicality right — the hip swivel, the half-sneer — and took home a Golden Globe for the performance.
