Synopsis
Square One (2019) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM. Director Danny Wu goes back to where the case against Michael Jackson started — the 1993 claims raised by the Chandler family, the spark that set off years of scandal around the singer.
The film walks through the timeline piece by piece: who filed what and when, how the money negotiations unfolded, what investigators actually found, and why the matter never reached a courtroom. Journalist Charles Thomson, Jackson's nephew Taj, and other voices lay out their reading of events, woven together with archival footage of Michael himself.
