Synopsis
Small Town Crime (2018) is a neo-noir crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by the Nelms brothers and led by John Hawkes as Mike Kendall — a disgraced ex-cop whose days now run between the bottle and the couch. Then he finds a young woman barely alive on a country road, and something clicks back on.
She doesn't make it. The police file it and move on. Mike doesn't. He starts asking questions around the fringes of a provincial town, pulling at threads that reach further than he expected, and before long the people he drags into it — his sister, her husband — are in real danger. Anthony Anderson, Octavia Spencer, and Robert Forster round out a cast that punches well above the budget.
