Righteous Kill

Righteous Kill (2008) is a crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Robert De Niro and Al Pacino play veteran NYPD detectives Turk and Rooster — partners for thirty years, now handed a case involving a vigilante who shoots criminals that the courts let go, leaving handwritten poems at the scene.

The investigation points in uncomfortable directions. Someone close to the case knows too much, and the evidence keeps circling back toward the two men running the inquiry. Director Jon Avnet uses a confessional framing device that asks you to decide early who is telling the truth. Carla Gugino, John Leguizamo, and Donnie Wahlberg round out the precinct as the pressure builds.
