Watch Ears (Orecchie, 2016) online on iFILM — director Alessandro Aronadio's Italian absurdist comedy that starts with a note on the fridge: "Your friend Luigi is dead. P.S. I took the car." The man who finds it (Daniele Parisi) has no idea who Luigi even is.

The rest of the day is spent asking strangers if they knew him — and every encounter makes things stranger. Silvia D'Amico, Rocco Papaleo, Pamela Villoresi, Piera Degli Esposti, and Milena Vukotic build a gallery of eccentrics that Parisi wanders through with mounting bewilderment.
