Prisoners of the Ghostland

Prisoners of the Ghostland (2021) is a deranged post-apocalyptic action film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sion Sono. Cage plays a nameless bank robber whom the local despot known as The Governor springs from jail for a single job: bring back his missing granddaughter Bernice. To stop the prisoner from running, they lock him into a leather suit rigged with explosives. Five days to find her, or it detonates. The trail drags him into a cursed radioactive wasteland where ghostly survivors, frozen in time, are literally trying to hold back the clock. Sofia Boutella and Bill Moseley round out the cast.

Sono blends spaghetti western, samurai epic and psychedelic horror into one feverish cocktail. The movie is willfully strange — lurid, bloody, and built around Cage screaming at full volume.
