Troll 2

Troll 2 (1990) is Claudio Fragasso's fantasy horror oddity, and you can watch it online on iFILM. The Waits family swaps homes for the summer with folks from a backwater town called Nilbog, never guessing the whole place is overrun by vegetarian goblins.

Young Joshua is the only one who senses the trap, warned by the ghost of his late grandfather. The goblins of Nilbog don't eat meat. Instead they turn people into a green plant mush so they can feast on them. Grandpa shows up to freeze time and set the creatures alight, all of it wrapped around that immortal double-decker line. There are, for the record, no trolls anywhere in this movie, and it has nothing to do with the first Troll film; the title was slapped on after the fact.

Critics long ago crowned it one of the worst films ever made, which is exactly why it turned into a cult favorite. The wooden acting, the nonsense dialogue, the papier-mâché goblin masks: you cannot take any of it seriously, but with friends and popcorn it becomes its own kind of joy.
