Synopsis

The Visitors: Bastille Day (Les Visiteurs : La Révolution, 2016) is a French fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Knight Godefroy de Montmirail and his loyal squire Jacquouille are lost in the corridors of time once more, and this trip drops them straight into the French Revolution.

It is 1793, the Terror is in full swing, and the guillotine never rests. Their descendants have lost the family castle and titles, and the only ones who can set things right are a medieval pair who understand nothing about the new order. Jean Reno and Christian Clavier return to the roles that made the franchise a cult favorite, with original director Jean-Marie Poiré back behind the camera. The comedy runs on the clash between coarse medieval manners and revolutionary chaos: no etiquette, no grasp of the era, plenty of chasing and misunderstanding. This third entry is a clear step down from the original, yet die-hard Jacquouille fans will still have fun. Stream The Visitors: Bastille Day online on iFILM.
