Synopsis
Room for One More (1952), a family comedy directed by Norman Taurog, is yours to watch online on iFILM. Cary Grant plays George "Poppy" Rose — an engineer with three kids, a warm house, and a wife who cannot say no to a child in need. Betsy Drake plays Anne, and the two were actually married to each other when the film was shot.
Anne brings home Jane, a withdrawn teenage girl from the orphanage with a history of self-harm. Then comes Jimmy, a boy with a physical disability that everyone has already written off. George is not sold on any of this. The house keeps growing and so does the chaos.
