Apex

Apex (2021) is a sci-fi action thriller from director Edward Drake, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Ex-cop Thomas Malone is doing life for a crime he never committed. His way out is brutal: survive one hunt on a remote island, and he walks free.

The setup is pure pulp. Six wealthy thrill-seekers pay a fortune for the right to track and kill a living man across forest and rock, with no signal and no exit. Malone is the prey, and at first the hunters call every shot. Then the script flips. A former cop knows how to turn a trap inside out, and the predators start losing people of their own. Bruce Willis plays the smug ringmaster who runs the game; Neal McDonough leads the pack, bored by easy kills.
