Synopsis
Semper Fi (2019) is an action drama you can watch online on iFILM. Cal is a by-the-book cop who also pulls duty as a sergeant in the Marine Corps Reserve, a man who believes rules exist to be followed. Jai Courtney takes the lead.
His certainty cracks when his reckless younger half brother kills a man in a bar brawl and ends up behind bars. Cal hands him over to the system at first. Then a brutally lopsided sentence comes down, and the Marine quietly pulls his old unit back together to break the kid out. The Corps motto — always faithful — runs straight into the oath Cal swore as a cop.
Director Henry Alex Rubin keeps the focus tight on one nagging question: when loyalty to the law and loyalty to blood pull in opposite directions, which one wins.
