Synopsis
Heartbreak Ridge (1986) is Clint Eastwood's war drama you can watch online on iFILM. Marine gunnery sergeant Tom Highway survived Korea and Vietnam, but peacetime has no use for him. What's left is liquor, medals and old scars.
Months from retirement, Highway is handed a recon platoon of lazy, mouthy recruits who could not care less about discipline. Eastwood plays the gravel-voiced veteran who beats his men into shape with profanity, fists and sheer example. At the same time he tries to win back his ex-wife Aggie (Marsha Mason), with little idea how to talk to her without barking orders. And on the horizon waits the invasion of Grenada, where the platoon will finally be tested in real combat.
