Thanks for Sharing

Thanks for Sharing (2013) is Stuart Blumberg's comedy-drama, free to watch online on iFILM. Three New Yorkers are working a twelve-step program for sex addiction, where the only rule that matters is telling the truth.

Adam (Mark Ruffalo) has stayed sober for five years and finally risks falling for Phoebe (Gwyneth Paltrow), who knows nothing about his past. His sponsor Mike (Tim Robbins) lectures everyone on recovery while his own family quietly falls apart. The newcomer, an awkward doctor named Neil (Josh Gad), still treats the whole thing as a joke he can charm his way out of. Their stories keep crossing, helping and tripping each other up.

Blumberg, who co-wrote The Kids Are All Right, takes a subject most films play for laughs and handles it without either mockery or a sermon.
