Synopsis
The Healer (2017) is a warm drama with a comic streak that you can watch online on iFILM. Alec Bailey lives for the next bet and the next good time, right up until debt and fate strand him in a quiet Canadian town.
Alec (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is a charming slacker who runs from anything that hurts. In his new home he learns an awkward truth: he's the last of a bloodline of healers, and the gift arrives bundled with a responsibility he never asked for. What turns him around is Abigail, a teenage girl living with cancer. She teaches him to take a hit far better than any of his old gambles did. Jonathan Pryce and Jorge Garcia round out the cast.
