With no other option, Santa hitches up his reindeer and drops into the modern world — busy, skeptical Paris — to track down a cure and get his helpers back on their feet. Locals take him for an oddball in a red suit, card machines refuse to recognize a visitor from the Pole, and his only allies turn out to be a worn-out married couple. Alain Chabat plays a kindly, slightly bewildered Father Christmas and directs the whole thing himself, with Audrey Tautou and Golshifteh Farahani alongside him.

Chabat, known for Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, leans on gentle absurdity rather than effects, mining laughs from a fairy tale crashing into big-city routine. It's built for a cozy December family evening — sweet without the syrup, and stamped with a distinctly French sense of humor. A nice pick if you want a warm holiday story for all ages.
