Harvey

Then the sanitarium mixes up which sibling is the patient, and the whole plan tips into farce. The more time anyone spends with Elwood, the harder it gets to say who in this town has actually lost the plot.

The film comes from Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Josephine Hull took home the Oscar for her turn as Veta, and Stewart made Elwood one of the warmest characters of his career, a man who chose kindness over sense and never looked back.
