Synopsis
Charlotte's Web (2006) is a live-action family fantasy directed by Gary Winick — watch it online on iFILM. Young Fern rescues a runt piglet named Wilbur and raises him by hand, but once he moves to her uncle's farm, the season turns and his days start running out.
Wilbur's unlikely defender is Charlotte, a barn spider with a plan: she weaves words directly into her web above his pen. "Terrific." "Radiant." The farmer stares, the county gossips, and the pig who was headed for the dinner table suddenly has a shot at the county fair. The voice cast is exceptional — Julia Roberts, Kathy Bates, Robert Redford, Steve Buscemi, Oprah Winfrey and John Cleese each bring a distinct personality to the animals around Wilbur.
Adapted from E.B. White's 1952 novel, the film earns its emotion without overselling it — Charlotte's sacrifice lands harder precisely because the movie never begs for tears. Stream Charlotte's Web (2006) on iFILM.
