Directors Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott keep the cult franchise alive, the one that started back in the nineties. Every segment hides a sharp message under the blood — greed, prejudice, old debts that finally come due. The twists land hard, and they land late. Alongside Todd, Lynn Whitfield brings the kind of presence that rarely makes it to the closing credits unscathed.
