The grudge spills off the internet and into a courtroom: he ends up sentenced to 22 years for a murder-for-hire plot against her, animal cruelty and trafficking endangered species. Directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin embedded in this world for five years, and every new face — preacher-showman Doc Antle, schemer Jeff Lowe — turns out stranger than the last.
