Everybody wants a piece.
Synopsis
Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022), Season 2 — seven episodes to watch online on iFILM, picking up the morning after the championship parade.
The 1980 title is hardware, not a dynasty. Magic Johnson signs a record contract and immediately locks horns with coach Westhead, while Pat Riley and Jerry West scramble to hold the roster together. One episode steps back to French Lick, Indiana — how Larry Bird went from college dropout to the Celtics' defining player. By 1984, the two franchises are pointed straight at each other in the NBA Finals.
Adam McKay's HBO drama narrows its lens this season: less boardroom noise, more the one rivalry that shaped the decade. Season two runs tighter and colder than the first. Stream all episodes of Winning Time Season 2 online on iFILM.
