Echo (2024) is a Marvel crime miniseries you can watch online on iFILM. Maya Lopez leaves New York behind and heads back to the Oklahoma town she grew up in, straight toward everything she once walked away from.

Maya is Deaf and an amputee, and she was also Wilson Fisk's enforcer — the right hand of the Kingpin's criminal empire. Now she's cutting that cord. Back home, she reconnects with her Choctaw grandmother, her cousin, and the heritage she'd buried. Fisk doesn't let people leave, so his crew comes hunting. Alaqua Cox carries nearly the whole story through sign language, posture and a flat, dangerous stare, and it lands harder than dialogue ever could.

Directed by Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie across five episodes, the show braids superhero action with Native American history and myth — something Marvel rarely tries. Vincent D'Onofrio is back as Fisk, and Graham Greene adds quiet weight in a small part. It's not the studio's loudest release, but it may be its most personal. Stream Echo (2024) online on iFILM.
