Marvel's Luke Cage (2016) is a Netflix superhero crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Mike Colter plays Luke Cage, a quiet man keeping a low profile in Harlem — day shifts at a barbershop, night shifts washing dishes. He has his reasons. A prison experiment gave him unbreakable skin and the strength to stop a bullet with his chest, and he would rather no one find out.

His cover falls apart when Cornell Stokes — nicknamed Cottonmouth — turns out to be running guns through the Harlem's Paradise nightclub where Luke works. Cottonmouth's cousin, Councilwoman Mariah Dillard, played by Oscar winner Alfre Woodard, has kept the neighbourhood under a political thumb for years. Luke decides his abilities come with a responsibility he can no longer dodge.

The show dropped all episodes in September 2016, becoming the first Marvel production to centre a Black superhero.
