The story starts with Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), a high school counselor whose son Nick is acting strangely — and not just because of the drugs. The city is still running, the news is still broadcasting, and the National Guard is still pretending things are under control. Morgan Jones (Lennie James), who crossed over from the main series, moves through it all carrying damage most survivors can only guess at. Victor Strand (Colman Domingo) reads every room for advantage. Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) has survived worse and knows exactly where this ends.
