Synopsis
Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie (2012) is a standalone anime film you can watch online on iFILM — the ninth theatrical entry in the franchise, directed by Hayato Date.
A masked figure called Tobi unleashes a forbidden genjutsu that pulls Naruto and Sakura into a reflected Konoha. In this alternate village, Naruto's parents Minato and Kushina are alive, Sasuke never defected, and the Akatsuki fight for Konoha rather than against it. Sakura gets the life she always wanted. Naruto has no idea what to do with that.
What separates this entry from the others: franchise creator Masashi Kishimoto wrote the screenplay himself, grounding the parallel-world hook in something more personal than most Naruto films attempt.
