Chaim Topol plays Tevye without a drop of sugar: stubborn, grumbling, tender, and fiercely loyal to his own.

Adapted from the Broadway hit, the three-hour film took home three Oscars — Oswald Morris for cinematography, John Williams for his music adaptation, and the sound team.
