About

Synopsis

The Juror (1996) is a crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Brian Gibson and led by Demi Moore. A single mother agrees to serve on a high-profile jury, never guessing that one civic duty will put her son's life on the line.

The man on trial is a mob boss, and his organization refuses to leave the verdict to chance. They send a smooth, watchful stranger into Annie's life. He charms her first, then states the terms: sway the other jurors toward acquittal, or her child pays for it. Alec Baldwin plays that enforcer with chilling calm, treating the threat to a family as nothing more than an assignment. Watch for a very young Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Annie's son and James Gandolfini years before The Sopranos.

This one trades shootouts for a slow tightening of the screws, with Annie isolated inside a system that can't shield a frightened witness. If you like thrillers built on pressure and impossible choices rather than action set pieces, it holds up. Stream The Juror online on iFILM.
